You would just leave it locked. The detroit tru-track is only $380, that's not bad at all. The 3.08 is going to kill me though, so I should probably look for a better ratio axle, I think it will be cheaper than a new set of gears. I hate setting up differentials anyway.

I bet that truck could pull a loaded trailer and run the same time.
LSD and traction bars or helper springs are highly recommenced.
I autocrossed my turbo mighty max / D50 and had really bad wheel hop. Traction was such an issue for me.
