I had one and i made the mistake of putting lowering springs on it (needed new struts anyway and they were cheap from the junkyard), and i have to say don't, it was horrible. It would actually scrape the bottom of the car on the road if you hit a big enough bump, slam into the bumpstops if you went in a driveway faster than 10 mph, skip sideways in a corner if you hit any kind of imperfection in the road, etc. Just keep the stock springs.

I think you're right Travis. I've looked at a lot of forum posts and stock springs seem best for commuting in Central Ohio.
Does anyone know what might be causing a clunk in my rear end, there is literally nothing in the trunk.
Should I replace the strut mounts when I do the struts?
Thanks again!
You might want to replace the bump stops with some quality ones from koni. There is a relatively inexpensive and hidden rear strut bar from active tuning. You might find one pop up on the forums for sale. The sr20 dash has the most traffic on knowledgeable people. You can find answers to just about anything thing with a good amount of searching. There is a good suspension sticky with super info on one of the forums.
