Good morning and New Year! I was going to order a set of Bilstein B16's for my '11 335i xDrive but then my heart was crushed when I found out they aren't available for awd variants. So I started looking around and the Variant V3's are fairly comparable yet also not available.
Then I found the Yellow Speed Racing coilovers. Does anybody have any experience with these? I'm looking for something comparable to the B16's - any recommendations? I dd the car but looking for something good for Autox and HPDEs (hopefully hill climbs soon as well). Or should I just go with the B14's for a DD in New England (Boston commuter)?
Thanks!
Nobody's heard of Yellow Speed Racing?
How do the KW Variant 3's compare to the B16s?
Came here looking for Honda content...left with spirits dampened.
Have you considered TCKlines? They seem to have excellent reviews among the BMW community and are available for the AWD cars.

Alternately, I know plenty of folks that have had good luck for Fortune Auto in the last couple of years. The 500's are supposed to be great for DD duties, while the 510's are a bit more track focused. They apparently make them for AWD E90 variants:

For the record, I also came here looking for Honda B-series content
Thanks for the input!
Sorry to disappoint your Honda desires. 🤣

The B14s are basically free compared to anything else being discussed and probably the best build quality and ride quality for that matter. Absolutely the way to go for your use case.
Also was thinking Hondas when I clicked, but I do have an e90. No experience with Yellow Speed, but know folks who have good experience with Redshift, Riaction, and Silvers. TC Kline and Fortune are both also great.

The appear to be selling the same Bor-chann Taiwan coilovers that anyone can pick a colorway, send a logo, and sell from their dorm room, basement, outhouse, or doghouse. The ones that Fitz mentioned are at least gone through and configured for the application.
Thanks everybody! I really wish I could get the B16s (not a Honda 😂) but I can't. 🤷♂️ Probably going to stick with the Bilstein at this point.
I've heard good things about Feal and have thought about them for my 996. They offer a set up for your particular model.
