So today I added some racing stripes to my '03 Odyssey, our daily driver. I mean, why the hell not? I need to be able to find it in the parking lot, anyways.
I did them myself, and I'll be happy to share technique (though lord knows it's not like I did a professional job) and other pics if someone wants. I've still got the roof and back to do at the moment.
In related news, there is a local Odyssey that has tasteful 17 or 18" performance wheels and tires, as well as decent (not quite limo) tint. It looks strangely good.

Well, it's fairly straightforward really. These are 4" wide stripes off ebay, $35 for a 30' roll. First, I put a 2" wide piece of masking tape directly down the center of the van. Then, place pieces somewhat longer than the panel you're covering so that the edges line up with the masking tape. Then put a piece of tape over the middle of the placed piece (the 'hinge method', which you can google quite easily), take the backing off one side and carefully squeegee down, then the other side.
I had some bubbles but I pricked them with an exacto knife and worked them out. You can hardly see where they were.
The curved portions of the bumper are more difficult, you have to use two or more pieces that slightly overlap, otherwise they'll veer away or onto the center tape. This is where a professional could certainly do a much better job than I could, I'm sure. But even my amateur first time attempt looks fine from 6 feet, even if you've got a critical eye.
I've seen worse. Much worse. Like so crooked they must have been E36 M3faced when applying the stripes. Yours look nice and straight.

Thanks y'all!
Here's the back, which was more difficult to do, what with all the cutting around the emblem and handle.
