The residual value on those older A4's is laughable.
Anyway, I like the bedliner, but the wheels look horrible. He should have just Kryloned the wheels flat black.

He should have left the wheels. They're the heatsinks for your brakes, and also they look like they've got that flame-retardant coating they use in buildings on them now.
Oh on page 2 he says that the car was professionally vandalized, so the bedliner actually makes a lot of sense. We should invite that guy over here. Anyone on VWvortex?
Well I've had the idea for brief minutes of doing a challenge car painted like a shark(dark on top/light bottom side) but this one takes it to the next level=holy sharkskin

Plus if you hit a cone, the cone would be filed away and the base would remain in the box
That is more than AWESOME.
And i lol'd hard at the responses on that forum. What a bunch of weiners.
I would love to buy this guy a beer, now that he's entertained me for at least a couple days between the booting and now this.
What will he do next?
I wish I could see the pics of this thing from work. Though, I'm kinda bored and looked through the responses. This was my favorite by far:
Well... you can run over homeless people without worry.
I could see useing bedliner on bumpers and rocker panels in certain applications, but the whole car?!?!?! I guess it is cheaper than paint though... However this is a killer idea for those of us up north with winter "salt rides"
