The Big Bend Open Road Race is adding a side event called the Shootout this year. Looks to be a Texas Mile-style solo drag race, with 1/2-mile and 1-mile events. They haven't posted many details yet, though.
The BBORR itself will be on Saturday April 27th, and the Shootout probably on Friday the 26th.
I'll try to post more as it comes out.
You know [cough]Keith[/cough], a V8 Miata in Martini livery with an experienced road rally team would do really well at both events ...
