Nah, it's the owners. All jerks.

My brother has owned one... and he's the biggest jerk I know....... he now owns a Lexus(30 year old ES300 5spd) so just owning an older status car means nothing......
My wife doesn't want one... and jokingly has threatened to leave if I decide I want one
It could always be worse.....we could all be MB owners or cocks like the audi bunch....
The only one I have left will be 18yo this nov.
Mine is 11 and driven by my 19 year old. I have driven it maybe 20 miles since owning it,
Not sure what that says. Am I a dickhead with too much attitude or not enough.
(Wasn't sure if that would sneak through the filter, lol)

If/when my BMW moves under its own power again, my "jerk-ness" behind the wheel will be mitigated by constant fear the POS will blow up again, so it'll get driven with kid-gloves.

We must teach your kiddo how to properly park in a parking lot......if you're not taking up at least 4 spots, you're doing it wrong.

True story, his one and only accident was with a flying shopping cart, while parked in a parking lot....

My position exactly. I hate the fact that it is a BMW. But it is sooooo berkeleying good. ('95 E36 M3).
I tried very hard not to be a jerk in the Ti. Didn't stop people around me from being complete shiney happy people. It was like they expected me to be a prick and would try to provoke me
I'm a former BMW owner, maybe I've reformed!
Of all the car clubs I've been a part of, the BMWCCA is my least favorite. Mainly because of the shinny-happy goodness that many members displayed. Of course there were good members too, just like not all BMW drivers are jerks.
Of course I did have to embarrass an X5 owner in front of this lady friend last night on the way home from work. He was cutting everyone off heading down the interstate last night, including me, so when we got to a cloverleaf type exit with double lanes, I waited until he was working it hard and blew by him with at least a 20mph speed difference. Hi corner entry was sooooo bad...
OK, maybe I'm not reformed after all.
