Oh thank goodness it came off. I was about to suggest putting a butter knife or spoon under the edge to let the vacuum off, running hot water over it, or maybe just tapping the corner against a table.

A $12 ELM eBay unit and the Torque app will help with the CE light.
Check all the hoses and the solenoid function in the evap system. Look for pinched or blocked lines. Especially under the car where they can be damaged by snow, rocks, etc
