Tonight was the first time I had ever heard of this oil. Sounds like its a pretty good oil. Looks like its only available through mom & pop auto parts stores and speed shops. Anyone use it?

never used it, but i've seen it mentioned on a number of different forums.
Porsche guys love it, but it's really hard to find.

I used their High zinc formula to break in a new motor a few years ago and it worked well. After 3 seasons my compression is within 2% across the board. I chickened out and switched to synthetic because I run high oil temps on the track.

I run it and my 944 loves it. Used to get lifter "clack" at startup, no longer. It can sit for weeks now without making all kinds of noise at startup. the biggest pain is I buy it by the case but I share the buy with 3 other 944 owners so it works out well. It's about 6.00$ can. a litre.
Plus it's green, so it looks cool.

+2, except that you can order it online and have it delivered in any size from a quart to 55g drum so it isn't hard to find at all.
I know it is super popular with the roundy-round crowd in my parts, and those guys run $8000, 8500 RPM methanol fueled small blocks.
I heard its formerly known as Kendall GT1. Porsche guys or anyone with an old engine that needs an oil with a high zinc content use it. I couldnt find one locally so I use Valvoline VR1 for my E28 BMW. Its available in regular and synthetic.
Love it but it is hard to find and they don't seem to care about that...I called 4 or 5 times when i had the rental property (com zoned) to see if i could get a stocking dealership out of them and allways got same give us your number someone will call you....(Que crickets..) I have to order on-line or drive 150 miles to the nearest stocking dealer....
Oddly it makes my old 52 harley flat head run so much better. smother and less smoke then other oils.

Fresh oil is not a hazardous substance...I think. But it would need proper packing.

Nah, no big deal. I get it shipped to me by the case for the 911 and the truck (Rotella, not BP) since they both use more than 10qts each. I even got a 5g pail of magic trans juice from Amsoil for the Allison in the truck with no hassles.

When I checked it is $6.99 per quart to ship from Hoerr Racing. I had the same problem when I tried to order Castrol brake fluid from them.

That's my favorite color. And I thought purple oil was special.

I run it in my ITS Rx7. It seems to be enjoying it!
The higher temps doesn't seem to break it down like some of the other conventional oils.
I used it in my milano and when I drained the oil there was a bunch of grey metallic particles in it, I used lubromoly oil after that and the engine was fine and the oil looked normal when I drained it after that. I am not sure what caused it, since I would have just swapped the engine with a different one if there had been any major problems I didnt do much investigation. I dont think I would use it in an engine that i cared about without having a sample analyzed after running it a little while though.
I will never understand why you guys get so excited about engine oils that are backed up by zero technical engine testing data. This oil meets no specifications that an engine manufacturer requires such as GF-5, dexos1, or CJ-4.
