I haven't paid much attention to Corvettes made after 1967, but I do kind of like the looks of the C6.

It has recently occurred to me that the early C6's have about four years of depreciation behind them now. I'm sure there have been at least one or two articles about them in GRM that I probably skipped over. Can someone point me to any back issues that may have some helpful info on the C6? (Not the Z06 as that's still way beyond my price range).

I cant recall if it was a C5 or C6 but there was one article where the magazine did its overall review, I will try to dig it out.

I remember some stuff on the C4 and C5, but I'm not really interested in those.

I think the C4 ZR-1 was part of the "affordable supercar" article that GRM did a little while ago.

I know there was a fixed roof coupe C5 that was featured for a while, but haven't seen much (if anything) on the C6. The C6s have been great deals at times with all of GM's Employee Pricing, I saw where you could get a brand new C6 Z51 for under $42K. That's a lot of performance for the money!

C6s are my favourite model of Corvette. A Z51 car with an LS3 still has over 400 plus horsepower. Z06s are scary fast. A ZR1 is my new dream car. Some call the C6 a C5.5 -- it's a heavily updated version of that car. But, that's not a bad thing to start with.

That's still too much for me, but I've seen 05-06 cars listed in the low 20's.

I was never a big fan of Corvettes - until the C6. That car is wonderfully proportioned w/o the huge overhangs of previous generations, nicely designed with a really nice chassis, suspension and brakes.

Yup, that.

The good thing is that the lower sale prices will only make them depreciate more quickly. Looks like it's working, by the time it hits the bottom of the depreciation curve, hopefully I'll be ready to buy!

Yeah, early C6s are a good deal. We do have some editorial planned.

I thought the C6 was one of the picks for the budget supercar article.

And here I thought Clarkson did sad burnouts.

Ah, C5 for the win. That car is just perfect in my mind. Maybe I'm just still having problems with the unhidden headlights on the C6.

The C6 looks nice, but I'm not a huge fan. I still tried to steer my dad into one when my parents were buying a new car.
