what are some pet peeves you have that a normal car owner might not notice/care about?
universal fit floor mats. aftermaket parts for imports that come with uss/sae hardware. using "universal" hardware on factory parts that have unique hardware

Chopping off the factory stereo wiring pigtails.
I would say most plastic engine bay covers (top, bottom, sides, whatever) are a pet peeve of mine but we dont have snow or rain down here so there's not much for them to keep out anyway.
If it's claimed to be a "bolt-on" part, it surely will entail a welder, impact, bfh, and 3x the time it should have taken.
Anything listed as "universal fit" doesn't fit anything specific.

Soooooo freaking true
Coal rolling brodozers, Teenage ricers that dont know E36 M3 about E36 M3 just had someone weld a fart can exhaust and think they're a racer
I kinda like the real black wheels on some stuff but definately not the rattlecan sprayed black wheels
How fast have you gone?
What's your favorite car? (Is this even possible to answer?)
How much boost you running? (10 psi on a T88 =/= 10 psi on a GTX28)

I am planning on Plasti Dip my wheels flat black. I think it is cool to be one someones pet peeve list.
Mine is people getting huge wheels with low profile tires while keeping their tiny brakes.
Then I get to watch them slow down for rough spots while I get to go normal speed.

Ive been guilty of this due to economics in the past
People who have their rear view mirror aimed at themselves. And, as mentioned, brodozers rolling coal.
Also, it irks me when someone has a really nice car that has been turned into a rolling trash bin. Who wants to ride around in their own garbage?

This^
And, garbage on the floor (fast food containers etc)
Typing "breaks" when meaning "brakes"
people who leave dealer badges on the car (or let dealers put them on in the first place). This goes also for license plate frames, since they're even easier to get rid of.
people who leave political stickers on their cars after elections. Or really, people who put political stickers on their cars at all. It's not like I'm gonna vote for your guy because you happen to drive a car. I may not vote for your guy if you cut me off in traffic though :)
people who can't put bumper or window stickers on straight. You have an MIT decal on your back window. But you're so smart you put it on crooked or off center. Seriously.
Jacked up jeeps, pickups, or SUVs that don't appear to ever have been off of a paved road.
People who buy massive diesels trucks and never use them for anything other then running errands, Wings on cars that never get near a track and "stance" rubber band tires stretched on huge rims.
My dad's car - padded vinyl top with fake convertible top "snaps".
He loves it. I hate it. And I get to sell it.
bull bars
Diamond plate anything
heavy ass fabbed front bumpers on trucks
Put the three together and my head explodes
Trucks with over a 4" lift
flat black spray paint
The 70's style mega rake
ugh! They got the flat black rattle can memo too
trash hoarders
realtree or mossyoak anything on a vehicle
diesel exhaust stink and the accompanying "cement mixer full of gravel" rattle
carlashes
subwoofers that rattle the car more than they make sound
A honda with a loud exhaust and an automatic
fog lights on when not necessary.
HID retrofits in standard headlights (seems to go hand in hand with trucks with 6" lifts around here)
I ought to stop now.
I really don't get annoyed about anyone's car stuff except when it cantbe ignored.
I.e. loud subwoofers
5 inch exhaust on diesel trucks especially when its a nice day and I have my windows down and then get a nice coal bath in my car just because you're an immature twat waffle with no taste
Cars with more than -5 degrees of camber annoy me too.
