I sent a few people within a couple hundred mile radius of me PM's via this board that apparently bounce when responded to, sorry 'bout that. I've got an old email registered with this board, apparently, and can't correct it without help. Hopefully that'll be resolved soon
Anyway...
Little Lamb-orghini will be leaving Wednesday from Evansville, Indiana. Route is US41-I24 (Clarksville) - I75 (Chattanooga). Initial plan is to go as far as north Atlanta on Wednesday and the rest of the way on Thursday, but could amend the plan to pick up a caravan. We'll likely be taking the Challenge car, which has no A/C, no stereo, no power anything, no luggage compartment to speak of, and is about a continuous 130db+ in the cabin at highway cruising speed. We'll cruise within 5mph of the posted speed limit at all times, as I really don't want to have to explain any of the questionably legal features of the car to a law enforcement officer on the side of a freeway.
Our car will be full, as it is now a 2-seater, but would love to have some company on the road... you know, someone to take us to the next exit when the wheel falls off or whatever. (jk... kinda.)

I'm coming down from Northern KY with plans to leave Wednesday morning, meet up with someone in Lexington, then connect with you in Chattanooga. Having a little extra support on the road will be nice.

Eastcoast challenge bound and down at the ass crack o dawn on Thursday from metro DC. Meeting up With ECM on the way through NC before lunch. Anyone from the northeast coming down Wednesday is welcome to crash our spare bedroom for that night but we would need to figure out parking if street parking isn't ok.
I'm going down from Indy, wasn't sure if i was leaving on Wednesay or buttcrack early on Thursday.
The plan right now is to meet up with Dansxr2 to go through his car on Thursday in WV i think.
Van Wert Ohio, leaving Wednesday night in Mongo, heading down 75 all the way.
We can meet up along the way if we time it
We will be doing the 65 (from Birmingham) to 85 to 75 route. We will be leaving early Thursday morning, so we may time it to meet up around the Tifton area.
@Celica... are you planning on taking 65 all the way through B'ham?
Sporqster tried to reply to your message, it bounced.
Long story short, yes, i'm down to caravan if i don't swing out to WV first. Will have to play it by ear.
Brad same deal. If i don't go out to WV i'll be taking that route.
I need to figure out exactly what's going on with the WV plan... just realized that it adds on a significant amount of miles/time to my trip.
I'll be meeting Brad in Birmingham.
maybe we can all meet up in TN or GA? I'll look into it when I get home.
Here is the route we will be taking. Leaving ~6 AM Thursday morning.
I got your email and also had trouble replying. I would love to but can't go this year for a number of reasons. I will next year though!
Sporqster, email me @ celicahalftrac@ gmail.com
Trying to figure out where and when we would be meeting/hitting the road. I'm thinking Wednesday? It's about a 14 hour drive for me and i doubt i'll be going much faster than 70mph the entire way down, since i have no desire to hear the unmuffled moaning of an F2T at 3500rpms all the way down there. (Also: Open loop at 80mph = 10.2:1 AFRs)

The Full Spectrum MX-3 will be going this route, anyone wanna tag along or meet up?
I'm starting to feel like i want to take the extra 20 minutes on the trip to loop I-75 since it seems to go farther east in TN, maybe it's a cooler road?
I think we're going to stick to the original plan more-or-less.
I and my co-driver will be departing Evansville at approximately noon Wednesday,
Passing Clarksville, TN @ 2PM
Passing Nashville, TN @ 3:30PM
Chattanooga @ 5:45 PM
Dinner in Dalton, GA 6:30PM
Departing Dalton, GA 7PM
Finding cheap lodging past Atlanta somewhere near McDonough, GA, 9:30 or so
Eating breakfast then visiting Summit Racing store (opens at 9AM) departing at 10AM Thursday
Eating lunch near Cordele, GA, noon
Departing Cordele 1PM, targeting 4:30-5:00 PM arrival in Gainsville.
Due to lack of (non existent) luggage space of the challenge car, we will be bringing only as many tools as will fit in a bulk-size bucket of laundry detergent, a tooth brush, maybe deodorant, and 4 pair of underwear each. Will acquire tee shirts and en route and at the event.
Booked the Fairbridge one exit north of the Summit Store for Wed night.
I am heading out tue at noon taking my time. Be in Gainsville wensday,go to beach watch ,every one come in.
