My dads 2000 Chevy Malibu is doing a couple odd things here lately and I was wondering if you guys had any thoughts on where to start.
Sometimes it won't start. It seems that the anti-theft system is keeping the fuel pump from running. But, if you wait a while it will reset and let you start the car.
Now it also seems to be tied to the radio. My dad said if you cut of the radio it will let you start the car.
It is also cutting out while driving. My dad said that today he had turned off the radio to talk on the phone, when he got off the phone and turned the radio back on the car cut out.
Any thoughts? I live about 4.5 hours from my parents and am going on what I've been told over the phone. If you have any questions I'll call and get the answer and post it here.
