The Prelude, one of Honda’s most iconic nameplates, will return to the U.S. in 2025.
Now in its sixth generation, the all-new hybrid Prelude will debut Honda’s S+ Shift, a drive mode that, as Honda explains, “further advances Linear Shift Control to deliver maximum levels of driver engagement, in keeping with the heritage of the Prelude line.”
So, fingers crossed …

wanna bet this is going to be an accord hybrid with a bit more electric motor via tuning in coupe form?
Well I can't wait to see this out on the road.
Any guesses now what it'll run at the FIRM?
Looks good. It's just..... the CR-Z was a huge disappointment. Get it right this time, Honda!
i still remember the 4th gen gauge cluster that extended into the middle of the dashboard and was LED based. 12 year old me thought it was cool.

um, because it WAS cool.
My roommates Prelude was the first car I ever drove in anger on course. I'll always have a soft spot for the brand.

Is it just me, or does it look quite Porsche-ish? Other than whatever the hell is going on with that grill/headlight bucktooth thing.

I thought it looked similar to the new Z personally... At least from that angle.
If I see one in the steel next year and it's as good as it should be, I will officially forgive Honda for ditching the Civic Si Coupe.

I saw one in person at the LA Auto show and the red is not doing it justice in the photo above. In person, the one I saw in white was a good looking car, IMO as good as anything they have in their current lineup.
I'm not up on Honda corporatespeak, so can someone confirm that the following passage is not describing a cvt with "fake" shift points?
“further advances Linear Shift Control to deliver maximum levels of driver engagement, in keeping with the heritage of the Prelude line.”
Looks good, kinda what I had hoped the Integra would look like.
Wish it was an updated K24 in there and RWD(the 5th gen always looked like it should be RWD). But the Hybrid could be nice too.

I'd bet money that's a CVT with fake shift points.
