Actually an '82 would be a MKII, the MKI body was '75-'81.
Yep, that's why I've been scouring the self service yards, because they generally have older stuff and don't inventory what they have. Keep your eyes peeled please!

I go to the one off of Buford Highway in Duluth and its ok, not much selection in the past couple of months, havent ventured down to the southside one yet...
you're spot on, north pull-a-part had those great cars, and now, crap, I like UWrenchIt just south of there, but they haven't gotten new inventory in many months either, I need to go to the south side pull-a-part, i hear it's a treasure trove but it's also in the 2nd worst section of town (next only to bankhead)...

L-ville and indy pull a part don't have one, neither does Indy pic-a-part. I've been to all three in the last week.
Might try calling Brickyard.

http://www.uwrenchitonline.com/ :) they are literally 1000 feet south of pull-a-part on Buford Highway, used to be called R&R Auto Parts, has the weird statue of the old mechanic with a wrench in his hand out front, I've missed it when I was going there intentionally as its entrance is down a hill from the road and it's set back from the road and despite the statue is hard to tell what it is. It's a self-service or they'll pull for you for a fee, they also constantly strip cars day in and day out as they're a recycler too, it's kinda the best of all worlds. Not nearly as organized as pull-a-part, dangerous too (lots of scrap pieces littering the yard) so be careful, and cars are not necessarily on blocks, sometimes you have to ask for the loader to pick up a car to access something. Also, call to find inventory, they don't provide it online like pull-a-part (another reason nicer cars go unnoticed there)...

Take the inventory lists with a grain of salt. I don't even bother checking the inventory at Pull-A-Part anymore. You can always find something that they don't even know about.

True, true, I've also noticed their computer list if you call is more up to date than the website, I'd say the site gets generated once a week, so it is only a guesstimate..
You'll need to log in to post.
