This has been up on CL for about 3 months now. He had some additional pics which showed bubba-grade bubblegum welds holding about a dozen patches on the front of the frame by the front shackes.
It doesn't seem to be in horrible shape but there are lots of terrible hacked together parts like the fuel tank:
I see it bopping around town about once a week. I wish I had the money to buy it and "unredneck" it.

I suspect that once you got under the paint and all that diamond plate cladding there wouldn't be much Jeep left...it would be easier to start out with something in better condition (although finding a flat fender that's both affordable and in reasonable condition is pretty hard to do these days.)
