Color matched cap and wheels on this B2600 got me interested. Wife told me to go for it as she usually does. Hmm.. it's under challenge priced, but too expensive feeling at $1950, given rust. It does run and drive though..

Definitely too good to be true... didn't meet reserve on BAT at $66k (which was probably a fair price).
In reply to Rodan :
almost bought one about 10 years ago for $16k. Bought a Tacoma and a 914 instead.

Celeste blue is bluer than his photos appear. still a very pale and rare color that looks right on a street car. A little to invisible for a racer. His 17,995 or offer might be reasonable, depending on the rest of the un pictured parts. Seller is seriously not Alfisti, you don't "bore" one of these engines. Read through the lines and I do not trust the engine.
I have never read all of the post. But now that you posted that, how does one add 100CC to a motor? Bored .030 over I have read elsewhere for different engines but that did not increase the CC's as far as I know
In reply to MyMiatas :
Boring absolutely does add displacement. It is the standard way, but AlfaRomeo engines of this type have removable cylinders, you replace them, you don't bore them.

i have never seen a bricklin in stick shift, was that a factory option or added later?
I found 137 manual transmissions. But nothing says they ever had a 401, instead an amc 360. Pretty cool though.

this isn't a car i would lust to own... but I'll bet meeting an owner at a car show / track day event would be a memorable experience.
There are a lot of craptastic 'Vairs out there. Aesthetically they're still my favorite American car of the 1960s though.
Not CL, but nice looking XR4Ti on C&B at NR...
