Without being in the car for context, I really like it on the diagonal. The way the pattern matches the line of the door pull really struck me when I first saw it.
That said, it may be different in the car with all the other competing lines.

How do you do that?
I've never been a fan of aluminum interiors. For a race car I can see it but for a street car it seems a bit too clinical, working industrial kitchen for me. I like a warmer, softer feel like with cloth. Hell, I'm not even a real big fan of leather interiors.
