Engines like tank, boat and aero engines are designed to perform well in very narrow range of operation.
That means they suck at everything they weren't designed for.
It's surprisingly less cramped under the hood than I'd expect.
I had almost been wondering if he had any plans to use it for tractor pulling - a lot of European tractor pull builds seem to use these motors. But I see he plans to go top speed racing instead.

I wonder how much that engine weighs.
A Ford 460 is heavy enough, I dropped one into a F150 once. That thing has to mess with the handling.

There's a time and place for optimal, efficient choices. There's also a time and a place for cars with hilariously oversized 27 liter tank engines crammed into them.
Not to dredge this back up, but where the heck do they find tank engines? Sites like Govplanet don't typically have special sections for stuff like that.
