I've got 4 shocks off of my Mountaineer that I need to dispose of. Any special decommissioning that needs to be done to protect the Sanitation Engineers?

Throw them in a fire?
Cut them in half with a sawzall. Works for any hazardous material.
they still have pressure? amazing
could always drill them... but be sure to wear protective gear.. you do not need that crap in your body through ANY orafice
instruction in box say to drill em IIRC
