It's like $25 for 4 weeks. I'm selling my 2013 Volvo C30 so I can DD my muscle car I just bought, It's sorta a rare car? I dunno. I had a hard time finding the c30 I wanted before I purchased it. Was just wondering if Auto Trader would work, or if I should keep to craigslist.
Also, it's a lot of money. Not sure who a $18k sale will happen. Should i go to stealerships? I owe about $9k on it.
It never worked for me in the past and Cars.com and CarGurus both seem to have more listings these days.
If Autotrader still gives you a higher price, "till sold" unlimited week option, take that. In my personal experience, it has always been a better deal.
Larger dealers usually put cars on both Autotrader and Cars.com. For personal ads, I've used Autotrader. It's a lot like CL...you'll get a bunch of scammers, and some tire kickers. But I have sold a few cars through Autotrader
I have had it work for me in the past, but it's kind of a crapshoot. I always buy the run until it sells option.
Ok. So I'm guessing at some point ill be working with someones bank too, if they get their own financing? Sounds complicated..
And the buyer may have to work with your bank if you do not own the Volvo outright.
It's not that complicated and we're here to guide you through it.
I've used Autotrader before to sell cars, but I always give the free solutions like CL and forums a chance first. It is mostly dealers, but a lot of people search it, so it's a good way to get a lot of eyeballs on your listing.
Have sold things both places. Lately they have both been a pain with the steady stream of scamming weasels and spam bots... Gonna put my Envoy up shortly and dreading it...

This. It's not all that big of a deal. Just some basic steps to ensure you're not getting scammed.

Exactly this. The more expensive the car, the better off you are with Autotrader. I've sold several vehicles through there, but I've also had a handful that I listed on Autotrader and never had any action.
Here was my experience selling my '14 ATS:

I did a search on eBay when I was going to sell the car, and couldn't find a single one listed by a private seller. Same thing with Auto Trader and Cars.com.
CarMax was another good option for me, I was impressed with their purchasing operation (haven't bought anything from them).
I left some money on the table compared to selling the car private party, but I think it would have been very difficult to sell privately (and in a reasonable time frame).
I'd recommend looking at C30s across the country on Auto Trader, and look to see how many are for sale by private party sellers.
Not sure, haha. I did a bill of sale and took the money. Going to pay off the car tomorrow and either hand him the tittle or have it mailed to him
