It's a rabbit hole to be sure! I've always preferred the styling of the "bullnose" ('80-86), so I've got just about all I need to swap the front clip on my truck! I feel the same way about Chevy square bodies, the round eyes ('73-79) just look better to me.
It's funny, because I always see your username and think, "a T-56 Crown Vic would be amazing!".

Mines the Merc version. I adopted the term grand-ma-quis from someone on here!
Id Love a 3rd pedal, but ain't got that kinda funds. Would be fun.
I'm a ford fan from way back, and when the (ugly compared to old rounder trucks) OBS came out in 80, I did not like it. The 150 change in 97 did nothing for me, either.
Then the 99 SD came out!!
The OBS finally started to warm up with me some a few years after that, and the nostalgia of the 80-86 is strong these days.

Nothing wrong with that, still a solid vehicle!
I hear they call the '97 F-150 the truck version of the Taurus, hahaha.
My dream SUV has always been a toss-up between an earlier Suburban ('73-79) or the Excursion, just because an SUV with the SD body was just the coolest thing ever. I'd definitely opt for one with the 6.0, as well. Then manual swap it, hehe.
I believe I got your email, as well, but I'm actually a little confused with how PM'ing works on this forum lmao. I just realized it goes to email rather than an inbox here.
In reply to Azryael :
Yea, with the email I use (how many folks remember when Juno was a free dial up provider?)
and my wi fi being an old cell phone, the DM's that I get, only show it's from GRM, and I can't reply.
I try to include my handle and info, in the body; cause I need that in the body, to know who wrote me!
I like their set up better than other forums... it's just my Luddite ways interfering, in my case!
I've seen one excursion shortened to a 2 dr. THAT was wicked cool.

Just a couple days local with the triple pup (now discontinued):
Truck and I seem to prefer the mid tune(tow, performance, extreme) with the max step firmer than stock shifts. (The other setting is smooth firm???. Or stock) Have not used it out of town, or towing yet.
Next step is monitoring- first try will be forscan.
Thoughts so far:
For a few dollars more there are what I believe are better options. If ya find a known good used one for 2 bills or less, not a bad thing. I would personally not pay retail for one, with the other options available.
After I'm happy with monitoring, I'll probably look into a mild FICM tune, to go with this, and see if that's a good stopping point.
Just got my cheap dongle in, and downloaded Forscan and OBDWiz (OBDLink) on computer, and a couple different "apps" on my I phone to try. We called them "programs" in them olden days, but then the "#" sign was called a number, or pound sign back then also!
Anyway, I'm not quit geek enough to go back out tonight to see what works, but will check em out tomorrow
After ordering the cheapo, I read that the better recommended programs (sorry, apps) claim the cheap one won't work with theirs, but ... we'll find out!

I still call it a pound sign, and I use application and program interchangeably. If you're sitting on a Tandy TRS-80, you're not writing an application, but rather a program.

Oldest I remember is my dads commodore 8080 (or 8088, I forget)
I did not get my first till windows 98 SE.
Used a cleaned up version of 98 (1st edition) for a number of builds, long after xp came out.
as a hardware guy, ya had to know some software to fix your own computer back in them days. First laptop I bought had to have xp... have not learned anything new about software since!
I get by, but I'm almost as much a "click here dummy" as the average "citizen"
The only I phone app I used, that would talk to my cheap china adapter, was not great. May look into more. But I got the replacement for my broken tablet (galaxy tab a) and got torque pro for 4.99. It communicates... now I just gotta figure out how to "turn on" oil temp. Put the "gauge" on the display, but doesn't read.
Gotta turn on boost gauge also. Lots more available, that I don't need.
Have not put pro on laptop yet, to see if that's easier.
tuning a carb, correctly, used to be considered a "black art". But is WAY simpler than this stuff!!!
