I have a 12' JSW TDI with DSG, coming up on 80k miles and due for a DSG service.
I know there are a multitude of guides on the net and YouTube. What are the best and most reliable guides that can be trusted? I'm inclined to drain, measure and refill plus 0.2 liter. But, I'd rather trust advice from a GRM'r if that's an acceptable practice.
I haven't done it, yet, but it's on my fall list for my GTI. I believe Humble Mechanic (youtube) has a video on it. He is a VW mechanic and is generally regarded as knowing his stuff. I don't think he measured the drained fluid, since the capacity is known.
The Humble Mechanic has a great guide. He is also one of us.

I used the humble mechanic videos a few times now to prep myself for different jobs on my 2011 GTI so I’d recommend checking him out.
I actually watched the fore mentioned video before posting, I posted anyway to get a consensus.
I'll have an update on how it goes in a weekend or two. Its been 7+ years since I worked on cars for a living, so it will be interesting.
