E30 Vanity Plate: B4BANGL

Saw a B4BANGL vanity plate on a nice E30 today -- I LOL'd...

Google'd it and, of course, someone's got a photo of it on another forum:

Before Chris Bangle

As in to Bangle. To take a time honored design and abandon it much to the dismay of a brand's loyal followers.

Example: "Man, Pierre Tereblanche totally bangled the berkeley out of that Multistrada."

or:

Man how the hell did formula one get so bangled?

I think we may have found our next board filter substitute.

"You should have seen her face after the accident. Bangled beyond recognition."

That is just awesome.

Ah, all BMWs were kind of awkward to look at in general.

e30s are OK but those big metal bumpers spoil it. The dash is mediocre.

The e36 was nothing terribly impressive from a design perspective IMO.

The e46 was the nicest 3 series design IMO. I think the e90 is better looking than the e36.

The 7 series of the Bangle era is pretty ugly but the car it was replacing was the only actually nice looking 7 series ever made.

I do like the exterior of the e60 5 series though. That body is pretty cool.

I think it would be an excellent vernacular for trying to accessorize a good sports car but missing the concept.
