I've recently picked up a '92 accord that throws a check engine light once warm. I'm getting a code 12, which seems to be the EGR. I don't plan to replace it or remove and clean it at this point. Anyone know how to fool the ECU and turn the light off? I know on a neon I had that I did this to, all was needed was a resistor placed across the 2 wires going to the EGR.
Any ideas on turning the light off without pulling the bulb would be appreciated.
