this is a harder one.. I loved my ACVWs.. so I am going to have to go with beetle
but I will take mine in 1303s/superbeetle trim please
Visually the 2cv is more interesting. If I had to live with it, beetle gets the nod.

Plus, however misguided it may be, I feel like I could make the Beetle drive significantly better with modifications less involved than putting the body on a different chassis. 2CV, not so sure...

Beetle without a doubt. The parts market for those is insane.
Gotta vote French again. The only way I'd want a Beetle would be as a 1970s kit car. The 2CV I'd be more than happy to own in its original skin.
Also, I hate The Beatles. 
I think I will go 2CV again. It is just much more "strange" and I like that.
Egh... not really feeling either. As I said yesterday, the 2cv is too French and silly. The beetle is just a beetle. Still waiting on the ZAZ

My first two cars were beetles, so I'm sticking with it. Besides who ever saw a 2CV before they became...whatever they are.
I am going 2CV.
Beetle. Enormous aftermarket and easier to live with on a daily basis.

Beetle. I could have so much fun with one trying to make it fast without killing myself. The 2CV would just be slow and French no matter what.
The Beetle wins fairly easily.
