I am not a hot rod guy. Never have been. I appreciate the work that goes in to them but just not my style however this I think has potential. If it was mine I would figure out away to put fenders back on it and some how get a period correct hood and sides to the engine to make it a little less hot rod but that is just me. Overall I like it!!!!
That's pretty cool. Based on their other offerings, I suspect it's got real suspension. Wonder if one could track down tires that looked "old sprint car" (er, but a bunch bigger than the photo) but had reasonable construction for street/autox use...
$22,587 with hood, fenders, side covers and running boards.

I just went and found that!!! Basicly a $2500 add to get the fenders and the hood and side panels for teh engine. They need to put up photos of one done up that way!!! I think that would be very cool.
That should be a part of everybody's style.
I wonder if the "Hellcrate" would fit?
All this thread did was make me want an 818S even more.
A Ford flathead would be cool but I think the answer is LS.

"Hellcrate" that made me laugh. truly. thanks for that.
Needs go into GRM speak the same way "Crammit" and E36 M3 does.

This works.
And who said LS?! What happened to daring to be different? Porsche 928 quad cam! Oldsmobile 330! GM Atlas 6 slug! Do something fun.
For years I have wanted something that was the bastard spawn of streetrod and Fast & Furious turbo-ism. If I had anything that resembled money at this time, this Pick Up and the Factory Five 33 could well be those cars... A 1935 Street Rod Pickup with AWD and Quattro or Skyline drivetrain? Needs to be done. Take BACK THE STREETS! Where is my medication?
absolutely fine just the way it is.....just wow
I want to build one of these with a F20C and OEM transmission and really really make it handle.

The CTR crate motor would make people angry too.
Oh man, that is really cool!
I'd love to build something like this. Being factory five, it should have some chance of passing the local vehicle standards tests and be granted a vin too....although it would need the fender kit for that. Hope they show those soon.
I think I would want a hopped up flat head v8. It needs that sound that only those make.
Autocross flattie. Blow people's minds.

I was under the impression the Hellcat crate engine was called the "Hellcrate"?
Even if its not, its still damn funny in that context LOL!
The thing's (over) built like a brick E36 M3house. As cool as it is, it strikes me as a bit heavy unless you'd actually use it as a truck, which would be limited by the very shallow bed. Or.... go all-out and make it a flatbed!

Ever been in a no fender rod? They kinda suck once they start moving and tossing E36 M3 in your face.
