How will a Fiat single cam hold up to a small shot of NOS like 50 shot or less?
the fiat 128 engine should hold up fine. Aluminum head on an iron block. Just do not try for the 100hp shot

Agreed, especially a semi stock motor as they aren't very high compression.
And if/when you blow it up, give me a holler, I have a few spares ;)
I have 20psi on a stock 1.1L. So I dont see why you cant run a 50 to 100 shot.On a 1.3L I trust your using FelPro head gasket. # 21195 PT-2

Seal the head to the block usually

but that's not important right now
I did it to my Yugo with a 1.3L EFI. Dry shot. 75 hp, I think.
Didn't hurt, but didn't help a lot either.
I'll give you 5 dollars if you swear you'll never say/type "NOS" again.
It's (nitrous oxide, that is...not "Nitrous Ox Side") an easy, cheap, "afternoon project" way to make power with a motor you don't give a E36 M3 about. Use common sense. Err on the side of too much fuel. Monitor AFR if possible. If not, make a pass, pull a couple plugs, adjust jets accordingly. Have fun, use a bottle warmer to keep the pressure ~1000 PSI. Speaking of 1000 PSI, carry that bottle like a baby. Seriously.
If it doesn't help a lot on a motor with less than 100hp, you've berkeleyed something up. We gained 45 hp on the first challenge crx; 50% increase over stock. You'll feel that. Lot of trial and error with jets though.

owning an old Fiat, when I read NOS I thought New Old Stock, and then for some reason I remembered there's a new Fiat, and thought we were about to see some NOx on a new Abarth, but I'll take anything I can get, so please, continue

ACTUALLY, when referred to as NOS, it stands for Nitrous Oxide System.
so, he is using the term wrong.. like Kleenex.
