My boss has a 2007 Lexus GS450h that is lighting up the dashboard, christmas tree style.
The dealership tested all the HV battery cells and they were within spec.
The codes indicate failure of the 'Module Battery Voltage Computer', #21 in the image below.

He has procured a new oem module to swap in BUT has not been able to actually find where in the car it lives.
Can you help me help him?
Here's a shot of the trunk where the battery resides for reference.
The pictures in your first posting are not working for me.

Under the battery, right hand side, sort of opposite of that orange service disconnect plug you can see on the left.
Currently pouring one out for my old GS450h.
Thanks Vigo! I was hoping you would have some insight.
I'll report back after he gets it swapped out.
There will probably be a high mileage/low cost GS450h available soon in SW Ohio if anybody is interested.

Well, I shouldn’t, but please let me know if he puts it up for sale.

Potentially interested as well. How cheap we talking here?
In reply to eastsideTim :
That's funny Tim. I was just telling Brian about your old Neon being up for sale (recently?) as a potential replacement for the Lexus :)
His wife always wanted a Neon when they were new.

Wow, Lexus to a Neon would be a major shift.
All the GS folks hear "cheap GS450h" and go:
So how cheap we talking??
Here is the dealers documented comments... but verbally it was the battery tests okay however the hybrid system ECU does not, in our experience, fail if the battery is actually good. So for $1200 we'll replace this part and then we can retest the battery but no guarantees...
The wife has forsaken her first automotive crush, the Neon, for the pinnacle of automotive beauty! That is correct; the seafoam green Ford C-Max.
I don't understand her tastes, but I guess she's kept me for a few decades so it works out well.
I am also curious about how cheap this 450h would be.
The car is in "Great" condition, except it burns a quart of oil every 1500 miles, cell 10 in the battery pack is dead and the cruise control doesn't work... So it's actually in poor condition.
$2500 zip code 45068, I would feel comfortable driving it home to anywhere (seriously).
