Don't you mean Red Bull syrup?

Yes of course; how clumsy of me to say otherwise.
I nice thick layer of oil would be a better deterent then making the offtrack area gripper then the actual track ;)
Williams the fastest Mercedes-Engined team in FP2! Let that sink in for a moment... Albon P3 and Sargeant P5 so far..
Albon and Williams are looking good and McLaren out of nowhere!! It's great to see both those teams doing well again.
For a team that was battling for DFL three races ago, McLaren has made quite an improvement.
Lando: "Max always ruins everything for everyone."

and will again tomorrow StWsGy.....as it should be.....
Very impressive performance. I really thought Lewis was in there for an easy second place with the tire selection. Merc just needs some top speed.
McLaren was fast. Way fast.
Oh yeah. Max won. Shocked, I am.
I was really hoping Oscar would make a stupid move in those first few laps...
IMO the British GP has been the most enjoyable race so far this year. Nice to see some of the other teams doing well. No rain and very competitive...........refreshing.
Can we take a moment to appreciate that a Williams passed both Ferraris with power? Albon catapulted Williams up the WCC today.
And Lando!!! McLaren on podium and suddenly shutting the door on everyone and even leading some laps! They better keep the chrome the rest of the year!
Well, the winner was somewhat predictable, but still a fun race to watch for everyone but the red cars!
Lando says this track and Austria favor their car as it currently runs, but at other tracks they won't be as quick. The Aston has the opposite problem.....
Great to see Albon in there duking it out with the "fast" teams......and passing them!
In reply to Javelin :
Without the HAAS blowing up it was very likely McLaren 2nd and 3rd.
Piastry hasn't impressed anyone untill now,he nearly led into turn 1 as well.
It was nice seeing cars not get a guaranteed pass with DRS and the ability to pass on the outside of corners.
Yes, it was a good race! I was most impressed by Russel's outside pass on one of the Ferraris.
It was nice to see some of the lower-grid cars do so well (McLarens, Williams)!
That was a really fun race to watch. Well done Lando for keeping Lewis behind, I thought he was dead meat after that restart.
Shout out to F1 fans in the San Fran Bay Area, Griffin Motorworks in Berkeley hosts great watch parties with food and a drawing after.
I was really hoping Ferrari was going to Ferrari so that Sargent could get into the points.
I also really enjoyed when Lando and Carlos had to ask what their respective plans were because they'd forgotten.
Apparently the W14 is headed for the scrap heap.. https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/mercedes-poised-to-switch-full-focus-to-2024-f1-car-and-abandon-diva-20-/10494198/
Guess Toto is tired of getting beat by customer teams AND that fizzy drinks company..
The funny thing is that they still seem to end up on the podium fairly often. If I'm looking at the numbers right, Aston Martin has been on the podium 6 times this year - the same as Mercedes. Heck, Lewis has been on the podium more than Checo (correction, I think this is incorrect). The team is outperforming the car by the sounds of it.
There's quite a fight developing in the "not Red Bull" race, it's getting pretty fun.
