Last Friday, I followed this from our neighborhood all way the way to Daytona speedway for the HSR races. I have seen the car at local PCA events but never in our neighborhood. (Yes, it wears a Ruf plate under the hood.)

1968.5.  Technically, there is an early production 1969 and a late production 1969, this is an early one. But as far as I know the Grenoble Green paint was only used on the early production cars.  If you look up the paint code on the door and apply it to the 1969, it says it's supposed to be yellow / tan but if you look it up for a 1968 it shows it as Grenoble Green.

It's got some 1 year, unobtanium stuff on it.  Namely the super short offset water pump and crank drive power steering pump.  I ended up machining a readily available late model water pump and making custom hoses.

Looks like the same color as my T bird, which was not supposed to be available that year ('72).  Color code was 4Q, which always made me giggle

It's supposed to rain all tomorrow and I work from home on Fridays anyway so today was fun car Thursday.

I think that's the second time I've had the miata out on the road this year.

As in registration or the stickers on the car? It's on historic tags so I don't have to worry about renewing them every year. The stickers on the car are just accumulated from 10+ years of rallycrossing it.

I've been daily driving my E30 for the last few weeks as my truck is at the body shop. I pick up my 7 year old from school every Friday, and I do think this is the coolest ride in the carpool lane.

I've used it to do truck stuff: carrying 2 full sets of wheels/tires to the garage. Surprisingly practical!

I think it classes up the employee parking deck at work.

But one of my colleagues has me beat with his pristine Euro M6 and matching E28 M5.
