Tips for becoming a great automotive photographer:
Take blurry photos (extra points if you do so to show the car is in motion) say something about "depth of field".
Put a nice car in an abandoned building.
Take extreme closeup of some car part, badge, sticker, etc.
Do any of these three things and you have become a true artist.
4) Add dirt?
I like this one from Easter morning. The flower on the egg was unexpected.
I wish I had an eye for setting up a good photo. Any pics that I take that turn out half-decent are purely luck, and I find it's more the car than the landscape/setting that I can make look alright.
I like the lighting and colours here.
And this one I thought turned out fantastic for an iPhone picture. All packed up from a day of auto-x.

OMG that was me driving that Eagle. It belongs to a friend of my son. I was laughing so hard during that run that I could barely see!
The guy belonging to the leg on the right, I'm convinced, was trying to get in several of my photos that day. Hey, it was a public event. I can't complain too much.

This one was, like many, pure serendipity of the point & shoot
this one, i felt the suspension reaching for the ground, and thought it'd be cool to take a pic of it like that. so i stopped, put it in park, set the parking brake as hard as i could before hopping out. you can just see a bit of daylight under the front left from this angle too.
