I am not a fan of the FWD autotragics but I love that body style for a sleeper. A proper square wagon that is useful and comfortable. If that stuff isn't a drawback (or you plan on "fixing" it) then unrelenting torquesteer burnouts are never really a bad idea.

so maybe a 240 or a 740 wagon. How much power can you really derive from a Volvo 240 or 740?? The turbo kit is 1/3 of the price – that’s always a plus.

I always liked the idea of an early '80s Datsun Maxima for a sleeper car. Already came with the straight six like the Z cars, four wheel disc brakes, fully independant suspension, and a great body style. Perfect for a turbo motor swap from a ZX car. :)
But when I think performance, the last thing I would consider would be a Volvo. So maybe that's a good argument for using one? lol.
