ChumpCar/LeMons/NASA/SCCA racers, Krider Racing (who have had their BRE themed Nissan SE-R featured in GRM), were chosen to be in the premier episode of the new car show Mud, Sweat and Gears on BBC America. Producers for the show were looking for do-it-yourself car builders/racers (essentially GRM readers) and the end result is: Episode 1 on BBC Monday, January 26, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. right after Top Gear.
Two teams each had 24 hours to modify a crappy car and then race it in three challenges/stunts. The show has the Top Gear cinematography and looks to be awesome.
