With a month left till the challenge, I'm used to seeing a few threads about who bringing what and how fast they expect to be. What’s going on? Are most people bringing some luxury barge that going to loaf around the autocross? Will the pro drivers fall asleep this year in all that plush leather interior with the A/C on? Is everyone else bring Civic/Miata/E30 that's so boring it’s not worth posting about? Come on, let’s see what you've got! I can't make it this year and want to see what everyone is working on!
What interior? I don't think there will be any leather left.
My ls400 might have the rare aluminum seat option.
Really hoping to get into the 12's if I can figure this whole nitrous thing out.
I'm bringing a boring Miata that I just got running about a week ago. Still need to fix the exhaust leak and do my suspension mods. After that I have a long list of things that would be nice to do but doubt I'll get to most of them.

:) This is exactly where I am. I'll be there in a mostly stock Miata rallycrosser.

I had this idea to pick up a "dajiban" from a govdeals auction and do it up in a domokun livery, but there wasn't time this year.
someone else should totally do it if they can
I was going to post a similar post.... Thanks... The lack of chatter on the message board definitely has lowered the energy level. I hope others chime in.
We are working hard to challenge for the overall. That is all.

Same goal. At first glance it seems like a dominant autocrosser vs. a dominant drag racer. Buuuut-IIRC you've matched our previous autocross best and trounced our previous drag and Parc Expose scores. So really its a consistent top all around finisher vs. a really slowly developed (8 years) kinda one trick pony upstart finally taking it seriously. We knew the bar was high when Paul asked us to help give this thing a serious effort. It should be a fun year.

I'm with you on the first two, but 12s - that's a bold throwdown.
luxo? nope. e30/civic/miata? nope. loud and nasty? yup.

I have a trailer and I'm not afraid of my car not making it home in running condition.
I'm bringing a former challenge car that is now way over budget... it will be exhibition only.
I'm bringing bratwurst and beer. Don't plan on worrying about dinner Thursday night as we will be grilling in the parking lot!

I have a dominant autocrosser now prepared to boost to 20 psi with probable anti-lag AND launch control plus a bottle of laughing gas in the trunk, AND a trailer to take it home.
Any questions?
Never had the money to finish the Ranger I got from slefain.... Then I have changed the power plant ideas sixteen times.... Even after I picked up 2 Ford 2.3 turbo short blocks for $150.......
I plan to autocross in complete luxury while listening to my six disc Nakamichi stereo... haters going to hate.

Lucky my 6 disc was broken and I had a blown speaker.

I am bringing 86 turbo saab. Mid 15s. But she has major story now. I ordered the re71r tires today.
I wish we were going to be there this year, but some jerks on our team decided to have major life events (marriage and babies) around Challenge time this year, so we are out.
Have a great time gents! And keep us updated!

Well, that's a pretty thin excuse. There are hospitals and chapels in Gainesville.

I tried so hard to move my wedding to the Challenge in 2011, but I was informed that the Honeymoon Suite at the Best Western Gateway Grand was booked by the Westside guys.
You clowns will be missed. No excuses for 2016!
