Good for you, Nashco. You found the same one I found. The same ONE. As I stated, Solaras are easier to find in this combo, but even a V6 with automatic Camry of this generation isn't all that common.
Sorry, when I say a car is easy to find, I'm usually thinking...Miata. Harder to find, but not impossible? a Miata with a hardtop. V6 and manual '99 Camry = Miata with hardtop.

Uh...how many did you plan on buying? There are a couple more in Portland if you need 'em, and probably more in between here and there. Probably. There's also Miata with hard top for sale in Jacksonville, because those aren't hard to find either.

Impossible = Fairly priced 94-97 Miata with a hardtop.
Easy = Fairly priced V6 Manual Camry.
Nobody is saying they're common, just that you can find them if you've got patience lasting longer than a couple days. Which, is good for me, since i tend to agonize over my car purchases for at least 2 months.
i thought the whole point of featuring a camry at all was to start with a car you accidentally get stuck with, instead of buying something intelligent in the first place. nobody gets stuck with a V6-5sp camry. the camry you get stuck with is a 4cylinder automatic.
My dad fell into a manual v6 accord that he bought for a song because a dealer was trying to lowball someone on a trade in. He drove it on and off for 4 years or so and then gave it to my uncle and his family because they needed a car and everyone knows that accords are basic transportation. It is possible to just randomly end up with a car like this. Not very damn likely, but possible, and all of the suspension stuff they're doing will work on an auto 4 banger anyway. What's not to like?
it makes the subject semi-irrelevent, imo.
yeah, my cousin inherited a ES300 with a manual too... but if you're going to base this series on an example that's an exception to the rule, than it takes away from the whole point of using a camry to begin with.
