Ohhh. Man.
That is my dream car. No lies.
When I graduate from college it will be just about ready to tip over into the 25 year import law. I will buy three and keep two for parts. I want a LHD one really really bad. Supposedly Iceland got them, and a handful of other countries.
I think that seller is semi-local to me... I actually think he's in Tampa. If it is the same seller, I think he's got a couple of them actually. I'd love to buy it and take it rally-x'ing, but at $10.5k, it's a bit pricey for me.
Its like buying an STi that handles better (well, it's lighter anyway) with serious nissan soul for less money. I say it's right on target.
I think Nissan is #2 on the list of manufacturers who love to torment performance car lovers in the US whith all the awesome cars that they wont sell to us. Ford is #1 on the list in my opinion.
Lol - You can buy them up here in canada for $3 grand all day long. A friend of mine uses one as a winter car

Yeah because you guys have the 15 year import rule instead of our 25. :(
That would do nicely.
Although it'll be a real hard pick for me between one of those and a Mazda Familia GTR
This car will eat V* all day....anyone care to translate that for me......so it can outrun a cruiser motorcyle? Must mean something else. I have to admit that I didn't know about this model at all. Guess my JDMyoness is lacking.

Awesome... Where? I've seen as low as 5k..but 3k would make this a contender....

And why didn't anyone tell me? I've never seen one for less than 10 large
"this car will eat V* all day and get good MPG's "
I assume he means vettes, but I'm not sure. It won't eat any vettes newer than the early 90's though. So it's either whiny keyboard boasting or I'm interpreting it wrong.
Import the engine and drop it in whatever. My 240 us still within challenge budget even after shipping the engine from our brethren if the norf.

Stock it has been tested to run a 13.5 second quarter mile. With a manual boost controller and an adjustable fpr and a chip (used to be cheap money) the essentials are good for an extra 40% horsepower or so. If I recall correctly the 2001 C5 runs a 13.3 stock.

No.

No...
I beat a good chunk of Gran Turismo 2 with the Pulsar GTi-R.
What better way to reinforce the awesomeness of the David and Goliath effect at such a young age.

So stock for stock, the C5 is faster. Modified, well, what's the point of the comparison?

Lots. A friend in Okinawa had one that was unbelievably quick. It was in that very car that I became a believer in non-V8 performance cars.

This is the Grassroots forum, which ends up being cheaper and faster?
