I think it's the colors and more plentiful lighting but 7-11 somehow works.
I should tag my Waffle house photos with that. I like it.
7-11 could work, but they don’t have waffles. :(

It's possible to do entirely from underneath, but I had the seats and doghouse out anyway. One of those" while I'm here", 3-4 times over for the various things I did. Started with a wiggly, but not yet leaking water pump. And the seats remove with just 2 quick release pins. Not the safest vehicle all around.
love it carry on....

David who's your favorite waitress at WH?
Its been a few months in the making but this olde BMW is just about ready to go visit Summit Point. Wheels and tires went on this week.
Not as exciting or as social as attending the meets with your Miata, but I put my second wheels with sticky tires on the Cappuccino, plus rebuilt all the shifter bushings in prep for this weekend's autocross. Then I drove it to work one day and gave it a cleaning!
I did a little more work on my tread depth reduction mod for the rear tires on my foxbody. This mod uses extra gas but it's worth it.
Nope, my S2000 has been sitting since november waiting for me to get off my ass and do a clutch job. Went through a job change, some winter malaise, and then just got caught up with home projects. Finally starting to find myself with some time and motivation. Hopefully stripped down this weekend, get the parts on order, and back together next weekend.
No. I've been wrenching in 100 degree weather on the appliances because in 3 days we went from 2 running cars to 3/4 of a working car (cause a car without AC isn't fully working in this heat)
But parts keep coming in for the fun cars... so I'll have something to do when I'm done with the chores I guess
Yeah I have been. Getting a new tune for the MSM. Along with the rest of the love I have given it, this will be the icing on the cake.
For the mirage, All the bushings. They are garbage so get those in. It just got fresh pads, fluids, and the whole timing belt. My fleet has been getting all the love. Gen Z loves that car. I get asked about it all over town. It's great to see the youth that interested.

He wasn’t there when I stopped by this week, but sometimes I get Nate who’s also very into cars.
A bit of driving occasionally, trying to find a local place to check the thermostat and see why it's not hitting much boost. (Like 1-1.2 bar on the gauge, multiple owners tell me it should be more like 1.8 bar.)
Yes and no. The TJ went out for a trail ride a few weeks ago and had a blast, although it collected more dust than mud due to it being so dry.
My E82 has a bunch of parts waiting for it, but hasn't gotten the most important part, my time. That needs to change.
Well, I'm 1600 miles away from home where my cool cars are.
But I still got to walk through the very small town local Thursday night hang out.
My favorite
I'll hang my head and say that I noticed that my M3 is cobwebbed to the garage floor yesterday. It's been sidelined for months with.....a dead battery. The shame! <insert work and kids excuses here>
Yes! After a month+ of prep, the FD (and I) attended Cars in the Commons 2023 last weekend. (Yes, that's a scanned Polaroid.)
Next was prepping the '85 900S for the Saab Owner's Convention. It got a new brake master, wheels, tires, lug nuts, oil change, etc.
I need to do some detailing before the trip, then I can start on replacing/rebuilding the clutch slave cylinder in my '92 900.
Yup...
Some voluntary, like wash/wax for both Miatas and the E36 Touring. Some involuntary, like the fuel filter on the Touring (25 year old hose was leaking), and a heater hose on the NB.
I also entered the NA in a car show last weekend... 1st car show I've entered in 30 years.
Now the NA is in the garage undergoing a K24 swap...
I did some quick tweaks on my 1969 Cougar then headed up to a big local Cars & Coffee at M1 Concourse north of Detroit.
