On the right, you're looking at multi-wire connectors. Both of the wires go through connector C234 and C100. So does to the red wire to the right.
On the left, it might be a circuit name or it might be wire gauge. I suspect the former. Notice how all the wires on the right side are D between C234 and C100, then they change to A.

Renault alliance, I attempting to create a new wiring harness as many of my wires are corroded and it'd save from having a rats nest in the Engine bay.
So on the left i presume the 4 red would be the color of wire/gauge, R2 would probably be the circuit name. let's hope.
