So I'm about to start in on my rebound project. My status with Uncle Ben has been "it's complicated" for too long and I'm not wanting to gamble any more time or money.
Rebound project is going to require rear steer knuckles. Lots of rear steer knuckles, but pretty much everything I can find is setup for MacPherson struts, I need a double a arm set up.
It's largely an aesthetic requirement, so let's not get into debate over struts vs a arms.
I'd prefer a junkyard option to ensure future parts availability (so no custom stuff).
Ball joint and tie rod tapers can be worked around.
Preferably with a 5x4.5 bolt pattern available.
Mopar is the answer. 5x4.5 and rear steer. Diplomat, duster, etc. A body or fmj splindles. Steering arm is built into lower ball joint.
Knuckles are tough... but if you want a toe, dude, I can get you a toe. Hell, I can get you a toe by 3 O'Clock.
Do they need to be drive knuckles or are we talking about front knuckles for a rear wheel drive car with the steering arms on the rear sides?
"Rear steer knuckle" around here is as likely to be talking about active rear axle steering as a part on the front end of the car.
In reply to oldopelguy:
Front wheel knuckles/spindles with rearward pointing steering arms for a rear wheel drive car.

Interesting. Steering arm length looks like it could be an issue given the travel in the rack I'm thinking about using. But that's certainly an option at least.
I'm considering the Speedway 3 piece "Mustang II" spindles, but like I said, I'd like to find OEM stuff.
