I wanted one for the longest time. I remeber when I had my 71 cj5, there was a 2dr cherokee at the jeep junkyard in Ferndale I wanted. It had the 258 and a t150 3speed. Sadly, now, all the ones on the east coast are now sleeping with the lancia beta's in rust heaven.

some of my earliest memories are flopping around the backseat (whats a seatbelt? WHo ever heard of a car seat? )in my dads chief as he blasted up the dirt roads to the campgrounds.I also vaguely remember seeing my dad sitting almost completely inside the engine bay working on it...I remember thinking it looked like it was gonna eat him! That thing was a beast!
