Kid does live FB feed going up to 114 mph weaving through traffic. No seat belt! Brilliant! Yeah, he's in critical condition.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Police say a Rhode Island man who streamed himself on Facebook Live driving 114 mph and weaving in and out of traffic was critically injured when he crashed into a garbage truck and a concrete barrier.
State police say 20-year-old Onasi Olio-Rojas, of Pawtucket, lost control Wednesday on U.S. Route 6 in Providence.
The video posted on Olio-Rojas' Facebook page shows him driving 114 mph and weaving through traffic. Police confirmed its authenticity to WJAR-TV.
Police say Olio-Rojas hit the truck as it got on the highway, then crossed three lanes and hit the barrier.
Rescue crews extricated him from the car. He was in critical condition Thursday.
The truck driver wasn't hurt.
Traffic was backed up for at least two hours.
Police are still investigating and might bring charges.
Wow, is it bad that I think its funny that you can see what looks like the speaker boxes in the windshield in the crash pics?
Ummm. Forgot this part?
Police say a Rhode Island man who streamed himself on Facebook Live driving 114 mph and weaving in and out of traffic WHILE HOLDING HIS CELL PHONE was critically injured when he crashed into a garbage truck and a concrete barrier.
ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssshocking...
Thishere is a whole new level of stupid. A reference benchmark to guage your more typical ho-hum variety of stupid. Too bad this idiot hasn't collected his Darwin award.
Back in my younger days (when I was invincible) I did similarly stupid crap but then again I wasn't holding a cell phone while doing it or giving the prosecutor evidence to nail me to the wall if things went tits up.
Yeah. I heard he works for Jalopnik

I will admit to pushing a fiat spider to an indicated 115mph and a 260z to over an indicated 140mph.. but those roads were EMPTY and I slowed right back down to normal speeds as soon as any other cars appeared.
I do not think I have broken 100 in over 10 years

Yeah, it's not the actual speed in question. It's doing it in a stupid situation. Romping through a parking lot full of cars at 60 would be similarly dumb.
