Can you swap the ECU in from another car?
I don't have another car handy with this exact setup, although I might pull the ECU from Elvis and reflash it. I had to stop in order to take the car to a test, now I've got a bit more time to work on it. I'll let you know what I find, especially if I solve the problem.
Just to dredge up a nearly-year-old post, Keith, but was this resolved and/or properly diagnosed?
I never did follow up, you're right. It was software, from what I recall. Jeremy found something in the tune - including the supplied tune from GM. We never had it happen with another car.
