Ok- it won't have a BW35- they quit that one in 1975. The automatics are actually quite nice in the turbo cars. With the stick, the boost drops off on each shift...
I know a stick is better, but if its just for daily driving, the slushbox is nicer.
I'm as anti-automatic as they come, but these cars are actually better with a slushbox. With a manual, you lose too much boost between shifts.

My 740 with home brew coilovers, konis, ipd anti-roll bar, and wide rubber did the turns pretty damned well.
Nice. Makes me miss my old 945T from a few years ago.
The ebay listing is a little skimpy on pics, though.
Anyone notice that it was in an accident? Scroll towards the bottom...theres a paragraph or two...not that such a thing matters too much on this board...;)
Also, the video advertisement from Volvo to the beat of "Stayin Alive" is quite wonderful lol
You might ask the seller how the car runs at stone cold start-up. The Volvo OHC 4 cylinder 8 valve head can crack between the intake/exhaust bowls... If it runs rough and then gets better when warm....

It says "intercooler" right on the decklid. I think the early Volvo turbos didn't run an intercooler, so when they added the intercooler, they wanted people to know about it.

I was referring to the fact that the poster above me was saying that the automatic trans was best because it did not lose boost between shifts
