Kid car art with a message board "car show" right here. Let's see some drawings, models, etc.

If there's enough interest, we can start a dedicated thread for that.

Cool idea! I think most kids would enjoy seeing their work posted and positive comments.

Build a foam board RC plane. I few years back my kids and I were introduced to these at a local Fly in and Pancake Breakfast. I guy had a few cool homemade RC planes that he told us all about building for pennies. The kids got excited, we looked up free plans and each kid picked one that we built over the next few weeks. So far we've only flown one, I mean crashed multiple times. You make them out of foam core poster board which you can get for $1 and up at the Dollar store or Walmart. Here's a link to a site that has both free plans and ones for purchase.ParkJets

One designer that I like has his own site. FrcFoamies The planes are good looking and all follow the same score and fold method. You can also scale them up or down by adjusting the print size of the templates.

I have a high energy, 5 year old girl.

I consider yesterday as Day 1.

I have a boy who is almost 5.  Today is Day 2.  I'm struggling.

The main issue I have in the coming days isn't keeping him occupied, its somehow keeping him occupied without my full attention, so I can actually get some work done too.  I honesty don't know how people get any work done when they are home with their kids.  I'll give it my best shot though.

The rain stopped long enough for us to venture down to the creek while mrs poop made dinner. Collected some bitchin rocks for the tumbler. Found a marmot skull.

My wife just lost her income for a month because our Governor is forcing all restaurants and bars closed for a month. Her rural breakfast diner probably won't survive losing all their food and having no income to pay the bills.

This is getting a little out of hand.

You guys described just about all the stuff we do daily. Minus the music instruments my wife is gonna love that one. Lol

Here are some others:

Go for a hike.

Make an obstacle course.

Prep dinner

Start a fire with flint and steel (just did this with my 10 year old, he already knew how but liked the practice)

BBs are cheaper than plinking ammo and probably not sold out.

Help mama clean house.

Help wash their clothes.

FYI - As much as I rail on them, Amazon does a stem toy subscription service that's been fantastic for our four kids. We've gotten some really cool learning activities including a make your own slime kit, roller coaster engineering, and a botany kit.

Which one is this?  Details?

This is a bunch of berkeleying bullE36 M3. I don't know if these dudes freakin' think about the follow on- not political finger pointing, just man,.... Beer=sanity.  I still love the bar that stayed open during katrina- spray painted on the plywood covering the windows "WE WILL NOT DIE SOBER"

The Governor is a millionaire. Most of these politicians are. They're not gonna suffer one iota. For us however, this one is gonna hurt.

I just saw that Scholastic is going to make 3hrs a day of pre-K through 6th content available at no cost.  I realize that's not necessarily screen-time free, but I'm hoping it will complement my kids' non-tradtional instruction that the school has sent home.
