So, evidently some guy named Ken made a video about roasting his tires down to the rim. A few comments:
- The driver's name, stenciled on the driver's side door, is "Hoonigan." This is a win.
- 650 HP and 660 lb-ft at the wheels? Someone invite this car to the GRM UTCC!
- I love how the car "falls" down the 51 degree banking. Probably a scary feeling in the car, though.
- Toward the end, I was surprised he got a set of tires to last an entire run. Then I saw he doesn't. LOL Fail.
- Love 'em or hate 'em, his videos have taken DC marketing to a new, world-wide level.

Regarding #4, those vids are put together from multiple runs and edited for continuity. One video doesn't equate to one continuous run.
That's evident from the previously generated four or five skidmarks at each maneuver. I've heard that it takes several weeks of shooting to get enough footage.

I heard it was Ken Block driving the wheels off his Segway.
Not to burst your bubble OP, but this is like the 3rd time that this has been a thread in the past couple weeks.
That's OK....I'll just make some more snarky comments about lightbulbs and segways, and JG will chime in and say to be nice since it was his buddy on the segway. Then we'll all bond by talking about how we'd love to drive a car like that.

Someone might also talk about Travis Patrana (or make a separate thread about him running up Mt. Washington).
