... well, obviously my radiator swap wasnt that damn clean. Went to head back to south Florida about an hour ago, loaded the car, checked fluids and added coolant.
It all came back out.
Looks like I didn't route the hoses ideally and one got some loving from the crank pulley
And the part numbers both come back as obsolete from 90% of suppliers. The two or three I can find seem to be Chinese and shipping from China.
Gonna have to roll my own I guess.
FOMOCO #s 9W7Z-6A715-A and 9W7Z- 6A715-B
FWIW, Ford Parts Giant says you can buy a genuine Ford -B for 34 bucks:

Not the -A, though.
In reply to Stealthtercel :
I just bought some half inch heater hose for those guys. No real reason it has to be molded. But thank you
Wish the car would stop trying to berk me anytime i work on it, though.

You did title the thread "Beginning of the Disastery"...
Car's just living up to expectations.
If you put a GRM sticker on the thing, it will psychically connect the car to all of the knowledge and juju here on the forum. Then we will finally know whether the collective GRM ethos is good or evil based on the next thing that you get to fix...
One small thing before the Challenge. Ergo. The sitting position is... lacking. Mainly in the arm rest region.
Couple boxes pulled from shipping's recycle pile. Some Great Stuff (which got on hands and pants)
And by the time I left work, I just needed to trim the excess. Nice and firm, fits right between the seats. Neglected to get a pic of that, but I'll get one later.
Saturday was autocross. I did two runs, 54.632 and 53.827, waved my pro driver ticket and Dave Marcus junped in. He askes a couple questions, told him brakes were good and you can steer by throttle. He took us to a 46.730 with one cone.
Afternoon runs came and I set off and sent it as best I could for a 51.086+1
Two tickets left I sat in the pro lane and waited for the first available. Along comes the man, the myth, the legend, Mr. Randy Pobst. Immediately started telling stories about the Freedom Factory, driving Panthers in Lemons, and all sorts of stuff. Laughing and joking, it was great. Made sure he knew what mods there were (none) and if there were any issues. We discussed if he could leave it in first for the whole run and he decided to leave it in drive. Both of us laughing and whoopin he took us to a 48.151 with two cones (I think one was a previous run that didn't get set back up properly.)
He hits the timing light and looks over
"Hey! 48! Thats pretty good!"
"Hell yeah! A lot better than me, I just got a 53. I think the other pro this morning got a 46 though."
"46?"
"Yeah, I think so." And it was like a switch was thrown. The only other thing he said was he was gonna leave it in first and then he locked in and just sent it to a 46.514.
Enormous amount of fun, loved having him there, great guy
