I completely get that. We struggled spending as much as we did on her CX. But we couldn't find another Mazda 3 as nice as hers that wasn't but a few thousand cheaper then this.
If it's any consolation... this is our dog carrier... 2 75lb black labs...

Has to be more tempting with someone interested in the BMW. Just imagine how happy you and the dog would be in a nice SUV or wagon with much lower miles.
