I've been searching quite unsuccessfully for brake caliper paint. We're putting new calipers on the S4 and instead of being gray we'd like a deep bronze or brass look. I can find very yellow toned bright golds easily, but that's not what I want. Help!
Caliper bodies don't get hot enough to burn standard spray paint unless you're really using them hard.

Well point, but we are track daying this car and it's pretty heavy and they are brand new calipers.
Well, it's certainly your coin to flip, heads is the color you want and tails is ability to withstand heat. I'd paint 'em with standard paint in the color I want, and see how long it looks decent.
the other way to go is Powdercoat. If your caliper bodies get hot enough to discolor your Powdercoat, you've got much bigger issues than discolored Powdercoat.

When you've been here so long you can call it in mod air.
I had some done by my friend's shop. They strip it very clean, paint with something and bake it on; I got red but don't know the options. VHT painted surface hold dirt after a while, these calipers are still shiny and clean easily.
If you'd like I can ask on Monday or just shoot you his number.
