...and I am willing to fly out to get it!
Requirements are:
Miles under 150k, cosmetically can be shoddy but mechanically must show its been maintained at least a little, preferably within 12 hours driving distance of the state of Utah.
I know you guys find these crazy deals on M3s. I've been looking on Cali craigslist. Haven't found anything super promising. Just wondered what other places would be good to look. I prefer to stay away from the rustbelt. Also, budget is about 9k. Thanks!
He he. Word filters make wonderful thread titles.
Oooh Tyler, that car is sexy! I bet it goes for more than my budget tho. I'll keep an eye on it!

You can have mine......
when you pry my cold dead hands off the wheel! Actually not then either, as I may get buried in it-- (Willie the Wimp style!)
They really are great cars. I'm reminded each time I get behind the wheel. Even with all the new, (and way more powerful) cars that I've driven, the E36 M3 just does so many things so well. It's the best car I've ever owned.
There's one in the classifieds right now for $9k. Just squeaks under your mileage requirements and seems like a really nice car.
linky
Thats a good looking car. Unfortunately he lives in Florida. I COULD drive down there and do like a 2 day roadtrip back, maybe see some sights...hmm, tempting...

Don't bother with the Seattle Craigslist. Not much in the way of E36 M3's here and what there is tends to command a high price. Maybe Portland or Oregon might be better. Been searching off and on for one around here for almost a year and no luck.

I don't know what it is about Hampton Roads and it surrounds, but it is the mother lode of reasonably priced E36 M3 parts (as in, actual E36 M3, not that euphemism the forum has latched onto). I live at the other end of the Commonwealth, and it's still my favorite Craigslist haunt.

There is usually a good selection for sale in Portland.
Yeah I hear Carrie Brown casts them off like worn-out Crocs.
Los Angeles has options. You've got me thinking about maybe selling mine.....
Hmmm
